A Chinese manufacturer has released a two-stage vacuum insulating-oil purifier for on-site maintenance and deep cleaning of transformers across 500 kV to ±1,100 kV AC/DC grids, also performing vacuum oil filling and drying.
Designated MDB-SJ200T, the maker rates it at 12,000 L/h with an ultimate vacuum of 2 Pa and says post-treatment breakdown voltage exceeds 75 kV. Two-stage vacuum and flash-evaporation remove water, impurities and hydrocarbons, raising dielectric strength.
The machine serves ultra-high-voltage and extra-high-voltage substations and converter stations. As 1,000 kV AC and ±1,100 kV DC projects expand, field oil treatment demands higher cleanliness and deeper dehydration.
The maker says it supports on-line filtration and unattended operation with interlock protection. Testing specialists note that compliance with GB/T507 and GB/T7600 still needs independent lab reports.
Export models can be customized for local voltage, with a reserved external vacuum port. As UHV backbone networks expand, Chinese high-end purifiers' reliability draws buyer attention. This story will be updated with project awards and field data.
