Pressure vessels and shell-and-tube heat exchangers are used for media storage,
reaction, and heat exchange in petrochemical, refining, chemical, and energy
industries. They can be built to standards such as ASME, PED, and CCC, spanning from
atmospheric storage tanks to high-pressure reaction vessels, and rank among the more
widely used equipment types in process industries.
